SUPERB FULL BODY OIL MASSAGE OUT CALL BY THAI MASSEUSE

39321297

A wonderful and authentic massage that is sure to both relax and reinvigorate you...with an adept touch that can work wonders; and which might just appeal more than a little too: choose the rescuing rhythms of a thoroughly soothing, deep tissue full body masssage; or alternatively opt for the sheer immediacy...of a very firm and sustaining sports massage ( WHY NOT JUST GO WITH A SEAMLESS BLEND OF THESE BOTH! ). All followed by fabulous, most uplifting and invigorating body rub. I utilize quality aromatic and/or non-scented oils that further enhance this experience. I'm a truely focused and pleasant, 32 year old Thai female independent masseuse; with degree level massage proficiency too. I'm also hygiene/health conscious. Attendance within 40 - 50 minutes ( subject to your own requirement and my availability ) can be obtainable. Home/hotels attended Central London & City of London...and I can also readily visit hotels at Heathrow Airport. I always afford all common courtesy...by arriving promptly at the arranged time, and also impeccably well presented; as well as in the most considerate/diplomatic manner possible.

I undertake just a confined number of bookings daily ( nothing like back-to-back appointments )...allowing me to be that much more composed and vibrant for these occasions. Also, I receive good feedback and response; as affirmed quite straightforwardly, by other, further engagements ( repeat engagements very much the majority of my confined booking commitments ).

This is absolutely my own genuine profile with a good accurate account...of the simply excellent, and 'drama free' out call massage that I provide ( written and posted entirely by myself )...and you are most welcome to call me ( id enabled ) regarding those particular reassurances; and/or with any relevant enquires.

My Contact Number: 07760 918 899 ...and I accept calls between 11:30am. & 11:15pm.

Note: I use totally reputable transport services only...no retained driver. Also, massages performed by me are progressed over a genuine full one hour ( options of shorter half hour, and longer full one and a half hour engagements available by arrangement ). Advance booking can prove advantageous in regard to my availability...as I do limit my 'commitments'. Polite notice...of course good personal hygiene is expected if you are seeking to book with me. PS.Many thanks for your very great patience ( wow! ) in getting through my ( s l i g h t l y ! ) long posting :-)

Massage therapy degree qualified. Male/female welcome. Not a sexual service.

Empirical Esthetics: 18 Outstanding Images That Celebrate the Beauty Revealed by Science [Slide Show]

News | More Science

Czech "Science Is Beautiful" photo and illustration competition explores the wondrous worlds discovered via scientific investigation

Life is filled with unexpected moments of beauty, something those on a lab bench know just as well as any poet. The third annual Science Is Beautiful competition at Charles University in Prague allowed students and faculty to share these moments through photographs, digital imagery and illustration.

"What is beautiful about science?" asked Bohuslav Ga?, dean of the university's Faculty of Science, which organized the competition, during his introductory speech at the exhibition of winning entries. "Two things: the enchantment in the discovery of the unknown and the delight in the elegance of ideas and shapes. The last one we can fully perceive in the present exhibition."

View the Science Is Beautiful slide show

The contest, which debuted in 2009, aims to share science's esthetic with the general public, raising awareness of the marvels scientists encounter daily. The winning entries cross disciplines, setting mathematical models and crustacean anatomy side by side. Each image blurs the distinction between art and science, from a da Vinci?esque painting of a fetus in utero, to a photograph of magnified mineral surface with a palette that would have pleased Kandinsky.

The competition received 281 entries, and jurists included a number of prominent Czech scientists and artists, including a singer?songwriter-cum-dragonfly-photographer as well as the founder of the Digital Imaging Laboratory of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. In addition, the general public could comment on and rate entries online to elect a people's choice winner, which was announced alongside the jury's selections.

Winners could place in one of four categories: scientific microphotography, scientific photography, scientific illustration or virtual nature. In addition, the jury chose a grand prize?winner who received 12,000 Czech crowns.

The jury announced winners of the 2011 competition on December 14, 2011. This past May, the Czech edition of Scientific American shared a selection of winners and other outstanding entries. You can see more images from 2011 and previous years at the competition's Web site (in Czech).

Top women's secret to success: Title IX

La Salle University

Jennifer Ngo, now a special agent for the FBI, during her playing days at La Salle University

By Eve Tahmincioglu

Jennifer Ngo, 32, a special agent for the FBI, played basketball when she was in college. Elyse Darefsky, 54, an IT manager at Cigna, was a big collegiate volleyball and basketball player. And Sarah Ann Slater, 23, who starts graduate school at the London School of Economics in the fall, was a junior tennis champ.

All three women credit sports for their achievements beyond the playing field, and studies show playing sports in your youth can indeed contribute to future career success.

?For me, it was about being part of something bigger than yourself,? said Ngo, who also played soccer growing up. ?As I got older, it helped me with my career.?

Their experiences point to how important it is for girls to have opportunities in athletics.?They also?underscore the significance of Title IX, which paved the way for more gender equity in high school and college sports, and celebrates its 40th anniversary this month.

Engaging in sports in youth can help women, and men, attain career success later in life, and many prominent women often point to that experience as a reason for their ability to climb the ladder.

Irene Rosenfeld, CEO of Kraft Foods, played everything from field hockey to basketball when she was in high school; former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin touted her sporting past as a basketball player for the Wasilla Warriors; and SEC Chairman Mary Schapiro was a lacrosse player in college.

As Title IX celebrates its 40th anniversary, hear from three women who've seen the battle from all sides.

Of her lacrosse background at Franklin & Marshall College, where she captained the first varsity team in 1977, Schapiro told Lacrosse Magazine in the March issue, that the game helped her professional life.

?Lacrosse is truly a team endeavor,? she said. ?You have work together, you have to be constantly mindful of where your teammates are, you have to be willing to be in the supporting role, you have to be able to read signals and be prepared to regroup ? all of these are important to workplace success. It also taught me to take risks.?

According to a report by research firm Catalyst published in May, 82 percent of women executives played organized sports after elementary school, and nearly 60 percent said it gave them ?a competitive edge over others in the business world.??

Learning how to compete is among the top life skills youth sport members gain from their participation, according to research from Boston University?s School of Education published last year.

There is ?a direct transfer of life skills from sport to work,? found the research titled ?Career Success and Life Skill Development Through Sports,? which was part of a doctoral thesis by Gavin Bruce Barton.

He found that besides competitiveness, sports participation also developed an individual?s work ethic, ability to handle pressure, resilience, teamwork and confidence.

Surprisingly, the study also found, that ?sport participation as a source of life skill development was cited far more frequently than family, work or education.?

And, the author added, ?Life skills developed in sport can contribute to later work success.?

You don?t have to tell Cigna?s Darefsky?s that. ?I learned more playing sports than I did in school,? she explained. ?I was an introvert, and the confidence that you gain playing sports, you can?t measure that.?

She recalled going on her first job interview at Cigna in her final year of college, right after her basketball team at Clark University had a huge win over Dartmouth. ?It gave me a sense of confidence,? she said, allowing her to nail the interview.

Slater, the recent grad who played tennis, also has seen the benefits.

Courtesy of Sarah Ann Slater

?Being a part of sports actively in my youth and throughout my adolescence really taught me a lot about discipline, time management, and taking responsibility for myself and my own successes or failures,? she said. ?Even though I am not active in competitive sports any more I?was able to successfully transfer those skills into other arenas of my life, mainly academics as a college student, and they continue to be a part of all decisions I make as I go forward with my life.?

Clearly, youth sports can be an ultimate career boon, and Title IX has opened the door for?many women to participate and then reap the future benefits, said Marilyn Strawbridge, professor of physical education at Butler University in Indianapolis, who has studied the impact of sports on women.

Despite the law?s success, however, we have a long way to go when it comes to ensuring more girls get some serious locker room time, an experience that will only help them as they go out into the work world.

?Title IX has been wonderful but there?s still parity to be reached,? stressed Strawbridge. ?Unfortunately we?re still seeing lower rates of sports participation by girls in high school and college and they still get a smaller part of the athletics dollar.?

And that?s a problem given the payoff sports engagement offers women later in their careers and in their lives overall, she pointed out.

?Women in sports are better equipped to view themselves as equals; they know how to compete and put themselves out there, and take risks for something better,? she explained. ?They live with consequence and are healthier individuals all the way around, mentally and physically.?

Getting a family portrait done is a fantastic way to immortalize a moment in time and to ensure that you always remember your family as they were at that moment in time. It's a brilliant way to decorate the home, a perfect keepsake and something that truly belongs in every family home. However a family portrait is only a good thing if it comes out well, and many people are horrified at the idea of a family portrait precisely because they are concerned about something that looks awkward and cheesy, or about looking bad in the photos. To get a great family portrait you need to spend time planning what you want it to look like and you need to make sure that you have prepared yourself for the picture. At the same time you also need to think about how you are going to pose and the positions you want everyone in. This is something that the photographer will talk through with you, but it certainly helps to know what looks good for you and the kind of position you want. Here are some pointers to help your picture come out looking great. Look at Other Portraits First of all you need to think about how you want the portrait to look in terms of your positions and in terms of your surroundings. This is what will set the tone of the image and have the biggest impact on the eventual outcome. When doing this you need then to make sure that you look at some other portraits for ideas. You can do this in Google images, or by asking a friend, and that way you can present to your photographer an approximation of what you want. Have a Trial Run Having a trial run where you take your family portrait yourself with a digital camera is a very good idea to help you choose what to wear and how to look. You might do your makeup in a certain way, or you might do your hair a certain way, and find that although it looks great in person, it doesn't translate well to film. This way you can experiment ready for the day. Coordinate At the same time you need to consider what other people are wearing when you consider your outfit. If you wear something that you think looks good without first consulting the rest of the family, then you can end up looking very odd indeed and you can end up with a picture where everyone looks casual and you're in a ball gown, or where everyone is in a completely different outfit. Work together on this one and try to coordinate colors too (though not too much which is creepy...). Practice Expressions As well as doing your dress rehearsal you should also practice trying out different expressions which will allow you to ensure you have your most photogenic face on on the day. Some tips are to find your best side, and to angle your head in a way that keeps your jaw defined.

State News from NAFED's Representatives ? Wesco's Blog

Florida

State Rep: John Gioseffi, Broward Fire Equipment and Service Inc.

In the fall of 2012, Florida?s state fire marshal promulgated new rules for fire equipment dealers and permittees to clarify the 2010 statutory changes for continuing education. The new requirement is for sixteen hours of continuing education every two years, coinciding with the license and permit renewal period, for all license and permit holders. Of the sixteen total hours, a minimum of fourteen must be technical content. For license holders the other two hours must be a minimum of one hour business practices and one hour workers compensation. For permit holders the other two hours must be a minimum of one hour business practices and one hour workplace safety. The Florida Fire Equipment Dealers Association (FFEDA) developed training seminars to fulfill these new requirements and provided training for over one hundred license and permit holders in the last quarter of 2011.

2012 was a renewal year for all fire equipment dealers (license holders) and technicians (permittees) in the State of Florida. The state fire marshal handled the renewal process adequately, although there were some problems with their new computer system and the picture IDs they issued.

The State Fire Marshal?s Office, Bureau of Fire Prevention, has also recently filled the position of safety program manager of the Bureau?s licensing and statistics section. Keith McCarthy has been with the State Fire Marshal?s Office since October 2000 in various positions and capacities. Mr. McCarthy assumed his new responsibilities, which includes licensing of all fire equipment dealers and sprinkler contractors in the State of Florida, in October of 2011.

FFEDA held a meeting at the Ocala State Fire College in February where representatives from the U.S. Department of Transportation provided a very informative and well-received educational seminar. FFEDA?s next scheduled meeting will be the annual meeting, held June 8?10 at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami. This is the same golf resort that was recently purchased by Donald Trump and hosted the 2012 Cadillac World Golf Championship. At this annual meeting FFEDA will elect new board members and officers. NAFED has been extended an invitation to attend and participate in FFEDA?s annual meeting.

Georgia

State rep: Daniel Laughlin, Pro-Tec Fire & Safety

Springtime in Georgia brings movement and change. Everything is covered in pollen as nature?s beauty comes to life; azaleas and dogwoods are coming to life all in full glory. Fire protection has some changes as well. Late last fall our previous Assistant State Fire Marshal Dwayne Garriss was officially appointed to fulfill the duties of state fire marshal. Dwayne has been very active in our industry, he even holds a current ICC/ NAFED portable extinguisher certification. Congratulations, Dwayne!

A recent proposed code change faces our industry in Georgia. A code amendment proposal was made to the Georgia Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner and State Fire Marshal Office. The change amends the International Fire Code (IFC) 907.4.4 to mandate electronic monitoring of fire extinguishers when a fire alarm is required. I understand that NAFED and others like our active state association, the Georgia Association of Fire Safety Equipment Dealers (GAFSED), are gearing up to respond to the proposal and its possible effects on both the life safety and the fire equipment industry. As we all return from spring vacations and head into the sweltering summer months, can we just do something about fuel prices!

Illinois

State rep: Tom Farruggia, Illinois Fire & Safety Co.

House Bill 4479 (HB4479) is working its way through the Illinois legislative process. As of publication, the bill has passed the Illinois House and is working its way through the Senate. HB4479 seeks to modify the Illinois Fire Equipment Distributor and Employee Act which licenses fire equipment distributors and their employees. The following is a summary of the key points of the bill:

  1. The bill would enable the state fire marshal to fine all licensees ? both individual and distributor companies.
  2. The bill would set a maximum fine of $5,000 for each violation to any licensee.
  3. The bill provides for the appointment of a hearing officer by the state fire marshal to adjudicate disagreements.
  4. The bill would formally require NAFED certification in order to obtain a license to work on portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and engineered systems.
  5. The bill would expand the certification requirements to include NAFED certification in pre-engineered industrial systems.
  6. The bill would eliminate the nine-member Illinois Fire Equipment Distributor and Advisory board.

The main issues of concern this legislation poses for NAFED members are as follows:

  1. The high dollar amount of the potential fines could be especially burdensome if issued on a per-violation basis, as proposed. What service technician could afford to pay a $5,000 fine for each internal maintenance that was overlooked, for example? And how many innocent technicians would leave the industry simply for fear of receiving such a devastating fine some time in the future?
Additionally, in reality, distributors may be issued all of the fines and forced to seek reimbursement from their guilty technicians. Seeking reimbursement for those fines from a guilty technician is nearly impossible to do legally in Illinois.
  2. The proposed elimination of the advisory board is a concern because the specific and extensive industry expertise of the individual board members is critical in order to gain agreement on interpretations and to bring reason to the table should agency proposals become excessive. In short, one of the advisory board?s main functions is to help ensure that distributors and their employees are treated fairly. Elimination of the board would remove this valuable safeguard.

You can track the progress of the bill by locating House Bill 4479 at this URL: www.ilga.gov/legislation.

(In the interest of full disclosure, Tom Farruggia currently serves on the Illinois Fire Equipment Distributor and Advisory Board.)

Iowa

State rep: Jeff Elliott, ABC Fire, Inc.

In 2004, the Iowa legislature authorized the Fire Extinguishing System Contractor Certification Program. It became Iowa Code 100C and became effective July 1, 2006, under Administrative Rule ?661 Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 275.?

Then in 2008 the Iowa legislature authorized the Fire Extinguishing System Installer and Maintenance Worker License Program. After several revisions from the first proposals, this licensing program became effective on October 1, 2010, under Administrative Rule ?661 Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 276.?

More recently, the fire marshal approved continuing education requirements for the fire extinguishing system installer and maintenance worker in order to maintain a license. These requirements can be found on the Iowa State Fire Marshal website at: www.dps.state.ia.us/fm/.

The Iowa State Fire Marshal has expressed interest in having the NAFED certification program approved for continuing ed also. I have been in contact with Norb to pursue this approval.

Also of interest to business owners in Iowa is a proposal introduced in the legislature this year. It is a proposal to require periodic review and reauthorization of programs such as the above certification and licensing. This proposal would serve as a review of these types of laws and rules to ensure they have indeed accomplished their intended purpose and are still serving the public good. If you have a view on this proposal you can contact your legislative representatives.

Washington

State rep: Pat Dillon, Simplex Grinnell

2012 is the third year that the Washington Fire Protection Association (WFPA) proposed legislation to license fire extinguisher contractors, kitchen hood contractors, and service technicians statewide and was turned down by state legislators. Despite wide support from the Washington State Fire Marshal Office, the Washington State Fire Marshals Association, and local city officials, the bill went down this year without any supporting testimony.

The senate committee called for a public hearing with just a two-hour notice during our largest snowstorm. The only testimony heard was from the sprinkler fitters union who opposed the legislation. The fitters are against the additional cost to license their membership who also service fire extinguishers.

Under the legislation, the Washington State Fire Marshal would provide licensing and enforcement. WFPA board of directors member Gary Cooper has worked tirelessly the last three years advocating the legislation. During previous years, testimony from industry and city fire marshals described the inability to keep companies and technicians who are doing unsafe work out of their jurisdiction. Giving notices of violation to the property owners is now the only way to correct bad work from unscrupulous companies and their employees.

In 2009 the WFPA was finally successful in deleting from the state law the International Fire Code (IFC) option to remove or eliminate fire extinguishers when quick response sprinkler heads are used.

The legislation will be back next year. Under the leadership of President Pat Shay, the WFPA is determined to overcome all obstacles and get it done!

Virginia

State rep: Bob Leahey, Fire Protection Equipment Co., Inc.

The Virginia General Assembly?oldest governing body in the US?adjourned with no action regarding fire-related activities. Instead we made national news by removing our ?one gun purchase a month? requirement and requiring an ultrasound prior to an abortion. Schools, law enforcement, transportation, jobs, etc., were minor concerns.

Male contraceptive shows promise

Hormone gels applied to skin sink sperm counts

Web edition : 2:04 pm

HOUSTON ? Guys might someday have a birth-control option that rivals the pill. Two gels applied to the skin deliver hormones that knock down a man?s sperm count, acting as a male contraceptive, researchers reported June 25 at the Endocrine Society?s annual meeting.

While women have had access to hormone-based contraceptives for decades, men have had few alternatives beyond condoms and vasectomies. In the new trial, scientists randomly assigned 99 men in the Seattle and Los Angeles areas to apply two unlabeled gels to their skin daily. Some men got gels containing testosterone and Nestorone, a synthetic hormone similar to progestin. Others got a testosterone gel and a placebo. ?

In all, 56 of the men completed at least 20 weeks of the regimen. By the end, 89 percent of men who got the dual hormone treatment saw their sperm counts plummet from about 15 million per cubic milliliter of ejaculate to less than 1 million. What?s more, a majority of those men made no detectable sperm at all, the researchers found.

?Less than 1 million is an arbitrary line, but it?s a threshold that we say is compatible with effective contraception,? said study coauthor Christina Wang, a physician at UCLA. ?There was very effective suppression of spermatogenesis.?

About 23 percent of men getting testosterone plus placebo saw their sperm counts drop below 1 million in response to that one-hormone treatment.

?This is an interesting and important clinical study showing that a transdermal male contraceptive may be possible in the future,? says James Dalton, chief scientific officer at GTx Inc., a biopharmaceutical firm in Memphis, Tenn. ?The use of transdermal gels for male contraception is a potentially meaningful advance compared to the prior approaches, which required intramuscular injection.?? This approach ?clearly?deserves further investigation,? he said, noting that the research would need to improve on the treatment?s 89 percent effectiveness rate.

The Nestorone-plus-testosterone treatment inhibits certain activities in the brain?s hypothalamus and in the pituitary gland that regulate sperm manufacture by the testes, largely shutting it down, Wang said. ?But the treatment is reversible: In all the men, sperm counts returned to normal by about 12 weeks of stopping the medications.

One-fifth of participants reported developing some acne during the study, apparently from the testosterone. And while 43 men left the study early, they did so mainly by failing to return for all the numerous blood tests required in the study protocol, not because of side effects, Wang said.

Large-scale testing of a single, combined gel ? possibly with lower doses of testosterone ? will be needed to get regulatory approval for the drug combination. The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and the Population Council provided support for this study.

Dying in the digital age presents challenges managing - Oregon Live

Death policies of major Web companies

Facebook: When Facebook is notified of a user death, they "memorialize" the account, making it visible only to friends, and preventing it from appearing on the "friend suggestion" bar. Family and friends can leave remembrance posts, but nobody can access the account to update it. Facebook will delete accounts at the family's request, but won't grant access. Twitter: Twitter will deactivate deceased users' accounts when provided with all of the following: The dead person's username, a copy of the death certificate, a copy of the ID of the person requesting the deletion, and a signed, notarized statement including the requester's name, contact information and relationship to the deceased. Twitter will not grant family members access to the deceased person's account. Google: "In rare cases we may be able to provide the Gmail account content to an authorized representative of the deceased," the policy states, adding that "the application to obtain email content is a lengthy process" and could be denied. To petition for access, the trustee must supply: Their full name, mailing address, email address, a copy of their ID, the Gmail address of the deceased, a death certificate, the entire contents of a Gmail message from the deceased to the person requesting email access. If Google approves this first step, the requester must go through a second step that could require a court order for the account's contents. LinkedIn: Friends or family can request a deceased user's account be closed by filling out a "Verification of Death Form" on the LinkedIn site. Yahoo: The site's user agreement states that upon death, a trustee can submit a copy of the death certificate to request deletion of the account, but cannot obtain access to the account contents.

Most people assume that a family member or another designee will handle our physical belongings and liquid assets when we die. But what about our online affairs?

Who will respond to important emails, pay our online bills and deactivate our Facebook account so it stops notifying friends every time a birthday comes around?

In the Internet age, our online legacy lives on after our deaths. It presents problems for technology companies and their customers, who might not have considered their online afterlife until they experienced complications when a friend or family member died, leaving their Internet presence alive and unattended.

This new facet of the death-planning process is garnering attention from the Oregon State Bar, which has drafted legislation to grant family members access to deceased relatives' virtual assets.

"The world has evolved into a digital world, and to fairly administer someone's estate when they die, we're going to have to have a process to get access," says Michael Walker, a Portland estate attorney who helped craft the proposal.

But the proposal probably won't come to a vote until early next year, Walker says.

Until then, relatives and online companies are left to wrangle over the details. Often, family members want passwords for personal reasons such as saving family photos stored on Picasa or Flickr, financial reasons such as paying paperless bills, or clerical reasons such as responding to important emails or deleting the person's LinkedIn account.

Companies typically push back, erring on the side of user privacy. They're upholding a commitment to the customer and avoiding legal pitfalls, but in the process they've invited lawsuits from people who want access to their family member's accounts.

Karen Williams, a Beaverton schoolteacher, sued Facebook after the company blocked her access to her son's account following his 2005 death in a motorcycle crash. After a two-year legal battle, Facebook granted her 10 months of access before shutting down the account.

Similar suits have taken place in other states.

Virtual assets
Virtual assets can include everything from your passwords for Facebook, Twitter and email accounts, to your password-protected computer files and even home security systems. (See the box for a sampling of after-death privacy policies for some popular Internet sites.)

Were you to die tomorrow, many of them would never cross your family's mind. But with the increasingly common practice of conducting business online, many of us have bank accounts, retirement savings plans, bill payment and other money matters hidden behind a username and password.

Eve Callahan, a spokeswoman for Umpqua Bank, says the company closes dead customers' online accounts when the family submits proof of death.

But with no online bank account for bill collectors to draw from, unpaid e-bills could pile up. The family might never know if they didn't have access to the deceased's email account -- and they likely wouldn't, because most email providers refuse to provide dead relatives' passwords.

"The family members have no way of accessing those assets," Walker says.

That's where the draft Oregon legislation comes in.

In the meantime
There are ways to ensure your online affairs are handled to your liking after death.

Ted Simpson, a Portland estate lawyer, began urging his clients to fill out a nonbinding instruction sheet after two incidents three years ago brought the issue of the online afterlife to his attention.

First, a family sought Simpson's advice after a murdered relative's Facebook friends began posting derogatory statements on the relative's profile page. Because Facebook doesn't grant families access to deceased relatives' pages, the family had no way to delete the posts. Simpson realized he didn't have the answers, either.

A short time later, another client sought Simpson's help in getting access to a relative's email, where paperless bills were piling up.

"It comes up all the time," Simpson says. "Until the law catches up with this area, we've just been doing instruction letters."

Simpson advises clients to direct the letters (here's an example from Walker's firm) to a trusted contact. They should contain the usernames and passwords for all online accounts, with specific instructions for how the trustee should handle the accounts after the client's death. Often, he says, clients leave different instructions for various accounts. They might want the designee to respond to unopened emails, then close the account. Sometimes, they leave instructions regarding pieces of an account.

"Take, for instance, your Picasa account," Simpson says. "You may have a folder marked 'family pictures' and one marked 'Vegas.' You may instruct your personal representative to download the family pictures to CD and delete the folder that's marked 'Vegas.'"

Several companies have capitalized on families' difficulty gaining access to digital assets after a family member's death by promising to maintain your usernames and passwords, then deliver them to family members upon confirmation of your death.

Some lawyers caution against these password warehouses, saying it's risky to store such sensitive information online and cautioning that if the business goes under, passwords will be lost.

Collin Harris, owner of the Nevada-based AssetLock.net password warehouse, says the idea arose after his father died in 2000, leaving behind no will and investments his father had never mentioned. It was a rude awakening for the family, who never considered their father's digital life.

"If the proverbial meteor hits you in the head today, who else knows all the little things about you?" Harris says. "Most people just have no idea. Who knows what we missed out there that he never told us about?"

NFCC Financial Education Blog ? Women Are Smarter Than Men

By Gary Silverman

We have been brainwashed to think that men and women are essentially (except for some fun equipment) the same. There is now proof that men and women are different from each other: Women are smarter than men.

Sure we may have had our doubts. I blame Lucille Ball. Lucy acted dumb on television and in movies compared to her hard-working entrepreneur husband, Ricky. Whether it was Lucy?s na?vet? of the ?real world? that made her look stupid or her stupidity that made her look na?ve, I do not know. Yet looks can be deceiving.

If you study television and film you will find that many innovations in camerawork, comedy, and television were due to her smarts behind the camera. In other words, the reality of which one was smarter was different from the perception. I think that same thing happens with money.

According to a study from Bankrate, Inc., 60 percent of those polled say they would change or delay marriage plans if they found out their future spouse had substantial debt or bad credit. Of those, 69 percent of women find this to be a deal breaker versus 51 percent of the men.

Maybe men aren?t intellectually dumber, maybe lust just takes over, but to ignore your fianc?e?s ?substantial? debt or bad credit is kinda stupid. Sure there are more important things than money, but money will be a rather significant part of your life and marriage. The amount of money usually isn?t the problem. How each partner deals with it is.

Want to see if your potential mate and you are on the same page? Sit down one weekend and work on your post-marital budget together. The results will be eye-opening (trust me on that). And that assumes you can get your future other-half to sit down long enough to do it.

Do you have to see eye-to-eye on things? I doubt you do on many items in life, why should money be any different. What you need to do is to see if there are any incompatibilities that you will not be able to live with ?til death do you part.

After your discussion over the budget, consider your long-term financial goals. I suggest each of you come up with your own list of what?s important to you financially and why. Then share the list. Please don?t trash the other person?s dreams. The intent isn?t to make the two of you the same, but to anticipate differences that may cause conflicts in the future.

Don?t ignore the positives of pre-marital counseling. Most pastors demand it and some churches have required courses for the future newlyweds. But those who are non-religious will still gain a lot from pre-marital counseling that covers many areas, not just money.

Many studies put money conflicts as a leading cause of divorce. While I contend that money conflicts are merely symptoms of other problems, they are good indicators for the need to openly communicate those differences. Be smart like a woman. Consider how you?ll get along with your spouse moneywise before you tie the knot.

Energy Health and Fitness Article: Recovering from Drug Addiction

Having your loved one fall into drug addiction may well be every person?s worst nightmare. We all may know one or two junkies in our lives; those who hover in and out of life with no real sense of purpose, and seem so engulfed in their personal need for constant drug use. Drug abuse can destroy a person?s life, both figuratively and literally. Excessive drug usage damages one?s body, as depending on the drug used, they can either wear out one?s brain neurons, damage muscles, even induce paranoia. However, drugs can also destroy a person?s career and personal life. If you know a person who is currently in the midst of drug abuse, hesitate no further in enrolling them in a Narconon recovery program. A rehabilitation program is the best way we can help our loved one who is struggling with drug abuse. Joining a Narconon program will help a person struggling with drug abuse to slowly inch away from their addiction. Being in the care of professionals is absolutely essential in recovering, as drug abuse is a plague of the body and mind. It takes great determination to move past a drug addiction and this can be made easier with the right supportive environment rehabilitation provides. However, willpower in itself is not enough. Drug abuse is especially dangerous because it hooks your body in using it; abrupt abstinence can at the very least be ineffective in stopping the habit for good, and it can also be painful. With the right staff and environment, a recovering addict will find that moving past their abuse will become easier. Your loved one will feel that he is in a safe and supportive environment, with those who truly know and understand what he is coping with. He will also be in the ample care of experts having experience with his conditions before, and who have been successful in suppressing the addiction. Hence, enroll in a Narconon rehab for that first step in recovery.
