Waterbabies Doll New Dolls for 2012

I was only 10 years old when I was first introduced to my first Waterbabies doll.? Remember them girls, the dolls that feels like a real baby?? She would come along everywhere with me; her name?? Sophia.? She was one of my favorite dolls and now with Playmates Toys reintroducing them, Zoe has just become familiar to the classic just like me.

Waterbabies were admired by young girls and I have a feeling they will be again. ?If you never had a Waterbabies doll I?m happy to say they haven?t changed much!? The new line of dolls for 2012 will include Dream To Be, Twins and Giggly Wiggly.

We received Waterbabies Dream to Be a Princess generating immediate excitement from Zoe.?? Upon arrival she simply thought she was a new baby doll without expecting adding water to it.? We took her out of the packaging which is when I explained to her that she gets filled with water.? The Waterbabies arrives with removable clothing, a headband and a funnel to fill her.

On the back of her is a plug that needs to be opened and the funnel gets inserted.? Use warm water to fill her.? The funnel slightly snaps into the dolls back.? She does fill slowly thus it is recommended that burping may be necessary to fill her entirely.

Once she is filled with water, watch your little girl love, cuddle and play with her newborn.? Zoe has enjoyed her new doll and nurtures her like any other.? She has named her Katie!? I absolutely love watching her feed her, change her clothes, add her cloth diaper, putting her to bed and bringing her everywhere, even the bathtub.

It has been a delight watching her play with her bringing back many childhood memories from when I played with my doll. Zoe thinks she does feel like a real baby.? ?I should also mention it is recommended to change their water once a week.

Waterbabies Dream to Be collection also includes a fairy, fabulous, a ballerina, a cheerleader and a soccer star.? I have the impression we?ll be collecting them all!? The Waterbabies Dream to Be dolls have soft bodies and suitable for children 2+. The dolls retail for $10.99.? Also are the twins who include the Twincesses and the Two Tweet Twins (coming fall 2012) also the Giggly Wiggly doll that giggles when her tummy is gently tickled plus she mimics sucking on a pacifier or bottle!

The dolls would be ideal gifts for little girls!? For more information on the reintroduction of the classic Waterbabies doll visit www.playmatestoys.com where they can be purchased. You can also buy them on Amazon.
